Novell is seeking software tester to join the Identity and Security Management Business Team in our Provo, Utah office. Successful candidate must be able to tackle technical and engineering issues independently, can ramp up quickly on a new technology, can drive cross group and cross discipline collaborations, and be passionate about innovating test methodologies that improve efficiencies and effectiveness. Efforts will include writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Case execution and Test Automation to increase test coverage.

Requirements:
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Understanding of Networking concepts and Technologies
- PC architecture knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
- Basic programming skills in Java and scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Ruby, etc).
- Virtual Machine experience XEN, VMware and HyperV
- Basic knowledge with communication protocols such as LDAP, TCP/IP, and HTTP
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, EET, MIS or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
