JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mountain Medical is seeking a Network Administrator for full-time employment. The Network Administrator will oversee, support, and maintain all existing firewalls, routers, switches, and network systems in three different physical locations. He or she must also be well versed in VPN technologies. The individual will need to know how to plan stable, scalable systems that meet the needs of existing and future applications.
Other required core competencies:
• Managing day-to-day network support
• Ability to upgrade and re-subnet internal IP addresses (RFC 1918)
• Implement VPN solutions to create a highly-secure network
• Propose, evaluate, select, and implement new technologies
• Ability to support end-users’ technical needs
REQUIREMENTS
• In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls
• Able to configure, manage, and monitor TCP/IP networks
• Understanding of Windows (Server and Workstation) and Linux operating systems
• Experience in both security and encryption technologies
• Knowledge of email systems
• Understanding of SQL servers
PREFERENCES
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Security+ and/or CCNA
• Knowledge of the health care industry
