Email Address Do’s and Dung…
Carolynn Duncan of HundredDollarBusiness pinged me today because she came across a job applicant with a very unprofessional email address.
The person’s email address contained the word “cowdung” in it.
Maybe this person is a professional at it, and I didn’t ask what the position was for… Marketing? Sales? Political Science? but generally, I think this would leave a less-than-positive impression.
TIP: Go get a GMAIL account (free) and if you’re worried about not knowing if someone’s replying, then forward every email you get to your other, personal email address so you know when you get a hit.
Or, just keep wondering why you don’t get interviews.
