  1. As I stated over at the CodeAway blog their flash based player for the digital edition is horrible. It doesn’t allow for highlighting and copying pieces of text - essential for bloggers to spread the message virally. It may be a new publication but their still stuck in an old media mindset. Given that it is a free publication I’m assuming that they’re going to try and make money with their marketplace - a business model that one would think be trying to attract eyeballs.

  2. Holy typo-Toledo, Batman! Given the lack of careful editing on that last post you can infer just how strongly I felt about it!

  3. Matthew, there’s also an HTML version of each issue. If you go to http://www.launchutah.com and click on the “issue archives” link, you’ll see separate links to the HTML text of each article - no Flash at all. We’re still working on a better content management system for the back end and hopefully some RSS feeds too. We’d appreciate any other feedback anyone has to offer (feedback@launchutah.com). Grow Utah Ventures is very committed to making the content of the magazine relevant and easy-to-access.
